Food tip Giolitti #Rome

travel, rome, rom, gelato, eis, food tip, giolitti

The oldest Gelateria in Rome is Giolitti since 1900. Of course Giolitti has lived long decades of experience and found their own ice cream recipes, which many people adore. Ice cream flavors like champagne, nut and even lactose-free flavors made this ice cream shop popular. You remember right, my favorite ice cream place is Gelateria della Palma in Rome. It’s difficult to find an answer for my choice, maybe it’s because I prefer creamy or kinda heavy ice cream. I think you should try both ice cream shops if you have the opportunity and find your own favorite place. Maybe you’ll like both and eat ice cream twice a day. Isn’t that a good excuse for eating more ice cream? ;)

Three days in NOT enough in Rome. It is a faiatstnc city and needs to be enjoyed. If you do the Vatican Tour use a guide service. The Roman Odyssey was the one we used and our guide Steve was PHENOMENAL!! He set the bar so high thatour guides in Turkey and France kinda disappointed us. Dont’s miss stopping at the Bocca de la Verita. Brings back nostalgic moments of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday!!!also not to be overlooked is the Villa Borghese. Daphne and Apollo is worth seeing but it house many earlier works of Berninin as well. I also loved Josephine. The Spanish Steps is also a fun thing to do. Go up one way and come down the other. All this in addition to the historically acclaimed sights such as Pantheon, the Forum, and so on.The Pope usually goes away in the hot months of July and maybe August. But the swiss guards are impressive.
