Stripes in Harem

Die Sonne strahlt mir ins Gesicht, während ich morgens auf dem Balkon meine Erdbeeren giesse. Ich atme ein und angenehm kühle Luft füllt meine Lunge. Noch steht die Welt. In den nächsten Stunden wird die Sonne das Tau vom Rasen trocknen und den Boden meines Balkons erhitzen. Menschen in Sonnenbrille und T-Shirt werden die Bürgersteige und Autos die Strassen füllen. Es ist dieser Moment kurz bevor die Hektik des Alltags beginnt.

Ich möchte ein bisschen Ruhe in meinen Alltag integrieren und beschliesse meine Aladin- bzw. Haremshose anzuziehen. Ein wenig Bequemlichkeit hilft vielleicht dabei einen Gang zurück zu schalten oder die Bewegungsfreiheit erlaubt es ungeahnt große Schritte zu begehen. Ich weiss nicht, was mir dieser Tag bringt – noch nicht! Aber ich freue mich darauf, dass mir die Sonne durch die Scheibe der Bahn strahlt. Ich freue mich darauf, die Bodylotion durch Sonnencreme zu ersetzen und ab und an einen schwall Sommerduft einzuatmen. Vor allem aber freue ich mich darauf, dass vielleicht am nächsten Tag schon eine weitere Erdbeere reif genug für einen Frühstückssnack sein könnte.

The sun is shining on my face while I water my strawberry plants. I enjoy these moments when I stand on my balcony and let the cold morning air fill my lungs. Soon the sun will warm the air and we will be gifted with a warm and sunny day. Hopefully. But for now I get the feeling that the day hasn’t started yet. The streets are empty, waiting to be filled with people and cars.

I enjoyed this relaxed morning so much that I decided to wear a relaxed outfit. In this case I’m speaking about my harem pants. Why bother wearing jeans and uncomfy shoes? Sometimes we just have to take every possible opportunity. Maybe I’ll walk through the day feeling happy and relaxed but maybe the extra moving space – thanks to these pants – will allow me to run through the day in big steps. I don’t know, but I’m ready for the today.
