Heute ist es soweit. Heute Abend sitze ich im Flieger und sehe nach fünf Jahren mein geliebtes Rom wieder. Es hat sich also gelohnt eine Münze in dem Trevi-Brunnen zu versenken. Ich hab sogar eine Münze von meiner Mama dabei, damit sie hoffentlich auch mal in Rom landet.
„Du wirfst aber meine Münze mit deiner Münze in den Brunnen, ja? Damit wir zusammen nach Rom fliegen. Was soll ich denn da alleine?!“ – Ja Mama, keine Sorge. Gerne gucke ich mir Rom ein drittes Mal an und zeige dir meine Lieblingseisdiele. Ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt. Ich bin zwar nur ein Tag und einen Abend da, werde aber soviel Eis wie möglich essen, weil die Eisdiele – hell yeah! – bis spät nach Mitternacht geöffnet hat. Also plane ich schonmal aus dem Flieger zu steigen, meine Sachen in mein Zimmer zu bringen und direkt ein Eis zu holen.
Vom Flug erwarte ich mir nichts. Wir fliegen mit Ryanair und ich bin schon gespannt, ob alles gut läuft und wie das so funktioniert und ob meine Tasche überhaupt in deren Kasten passt und überhaupt muss ich jetzt unbedingt noch einige Sachen einpacken gehen. Nur soviel sei verraten, ich bin nicht privat in Italien, die Uni verschleppt mich dahin. Also drückt mir die Daumen und hofft mit mir gemeinsam, dass uns nur wenig Arbeitet erwartet und wir umso mehr in der Toskana entspannen können.

I’m kinda thrilled to tell you that I’m off to Italy. Sounds weird doesn’t it? Did you read a hint of displeasedness? Well you sensed it right. I’m happy that I was lucky and got the opportunity to visit Rome again. Five years after my first visit in Rome I will be able to visit my favorite ice cream place, see the beautiful Fontana di Trevi and watch a coin sinking in it – my mom gave me a coin too – enjoy great food and visit my favorite ice cream place again. Seriously this place is great and I will tell you about it as soon as I’m back.
Now to the part that I’m not sure about. The reason why I’m off to Italy is the university. After two days in Rome I’ll meet my teachers in the Toscana. I hope that it’ll be fun but I guess that I have to work. Well… work isn’t fun. I hope you enjoy your weekend and see you soon!
